iTango 2018 Housing

Start Date:
End Date:
iTango Marathon 2018 attendees will be housed in Alice Cook House, where many of the activities will take place.

Alice Cook House is located on West Campus and is air cooled. The House is a residence hall used by students during the academic year. It contains a mix of hallway rooms (a bedroom that opens into the hallway) and 4-bedroom suites. Hallway rooms share a bathroom with approximately 4 other hallway room occupants. There are no private bathrooms or double beds available.

The suites contain three single occupancy rooms and one double occupancy room, meaning that each guest will share a small living space and one bathroom with four suitemates. Each bedroom has an extra long twin size bed , desk, desk lamp, desk chair, dresser, book case, waste basket, and closet or wardrobe per person.

Double occupancy rooms require that each person residing in the room register separately for the event.

Couples requesting their partner as a roommate will generally be assigned a hallway room, unless you provide suitemate requests as well.

Attendees on their own will generally be assigned into a single gender suite with other iTango attendees or a hallway single room. If there is a suite's worth of mixed gender attendees all willing to live together, simply email the request and you will be assigned together.

Roommates for double occupancy rooms or suitemates can be requested by emailing confserv@cornell.edu. All members of your party must be registered before you submit your request.

If you require any particular accommodations regarding your housing, please email confserv@cornell.edu , please specify "iTango Marathon 2018" in the subject line.

Bed and bath linens are provided. Each person will receive 2 sheets, a pillow with a pillow case, 2 bath towels, a face cloth, a blanket, and a bedspread. Beds will be made upon arrival and made daily after 10:00am. All bathrooms and common areas are cleaned daily. Laundry facilities are located in the building.

Kitchenettes are located on the 3rd and 4th floor of the building. Cooking utensils, cookware, plates, and flatware are not provided.

There are single occupancy and double occupancy rooms available.
The single occupancy room rate is $82.00 per person, per night, plus 8% sales tax.
The double occupancy room rate is $57.00 per person, per night plus 8% sales tax. (each person in a double occupancy room must register and pay separately)
